Media Advisory – Media Invitation to the Rally for Public Education

April 25, 2023

Media is invited to attend the Rally for Public Education on Saturday, April 29 at the Saskatchewan Legislative Building in Regina. This rally will bring voices from across the province together to demand the provincial government stop the cuts and provide funding to meet all students’ needs.

The most recent provincial budget delivered another round of underfunding, which will force school divisions to make difficult decisions and further cut resources and services that students need. On Saturday, concerned parents, students, teachers and community members will tell the Saskatchewan government our students deserve better, and it is time to restore education funding.
