Implementation Supports
Implementation working teams comprised of teachers nominated by their school divisions or First Nations education authorities have developed, adapted or identified a variety of implementation supports (e.g., lesson plans, course outlines, materials lists, suggested activities, case studies) for new and renewed curricula. These resources have not undergone a formal evaluation and are posted for the following areas of study/curricula:
- Practical and Applied Arts (PAA) – Robotics and Automation 10, 20, 30; Financial Literacy 20, 30; Accounting 10, 20, 30; Information Processing 10, 20, 30;
- Arts Education – Dance 10, 20, 30; Drama 10, 20, 30; Visual Art 10, 20, 30;
- Physical Education – Physical Education 20, 30;
- Science – Science 10; Environmental Science 20; Health Science 20; Physical Science 20; Biology 30; Chemistry 30; Physics 30; Earth Science 30; Computer Science 20, 30; and,
- French Immersion (available in French) – Programmes d’études interdisciplinaires de la maternelle à la deuxième année.
Links to the implementation support Blackboard organizations can be found under Resources on the landing page for each curriculum listed above. The link to the PAA Implementation Support organization is also listed under PAA Supports on the PAA main page at curriculum.gov.sk.ca.
Users can self-enroll in each organization by clicking on the +Enroll link which will then prompt them to log in to Blackboard. Every teacher in Saskatchewan has access to Blackboard and can contact Network Services at NetworkServices@gov.sk.ca or 1-866-933-8333 for assistance with their user name and password.
