Online Vetting Sessions for Draft English Language Arts Elective Curricula

This work aligns with Inspiring Success: First Nations and Métis PreK-12 Education Policy Framework, in which the Ministry of Education commits to work collaboratively with all educational partners to strengthen relationships and achieve an equitable and inclusive system that benefits all learners.

The Ministry of Education will host several one-hour online vetting sessions for the following renewed draft English language arts elective curricula:

• Creative Writing 20 – Tuesday, April 5 at 12 p.m.; Wednesday, April 6 at 3:30 p.m.;
• Journalism Studies 20 – Wednesday, March 30 at 12 p.m.; Thursday, March 31 at 3:30 p.m.; and,
• Media Studies 20 – Monday, April 11 at 12 p.m.; Tuesday, April 12 at 3:30 p.m.

These vetting sessions are opportunities for educators to provide feedback on the draft curricula; participants should register here by March 28, 2022.
