Review your STRP Annual Statement

December 21, 2023

If you haven’t already, you should receive your annual statement in the mail shortly. It’s important to understand what the information on your statement means. In short, your annual pension statement provides a snapshot of the pension benefits you’ve earned up to June 30, 2023. It also shows you the personal information we have on file for you. If you notice anything amiss, it’s a good idea to update it.

The personal information displayed on the first page of your statement includes the beneficiary(ies) you’ve named to receive any death benefits from the STRP should you pass away. If you have not designated a beneficiary or would like to change your designation, complete and mail the STRP Beneficiary Designation form to our office.

Remember, the monthly pension amounts and earliest unreduced retirement date shown on your statement are based on your service and salary up to June 30, 2023 only, so they don’t reflect any future service or pension you might earn. If you’d like an estimate of your future pension with additional service, or you’d like to confirm your eligible retirement dates assuming you continue to work, you can log into MySTF to use the STRP Pension Estimator for instant pension estimates.

Above all, make sure you read your statement and confirm that everything looks accurate. If you notice any errors, contact the STRP by phone at 1-800-667-7762 or by email at strp@stf.sk.ca.
