Leadership Development

Serving on our committee provides a platform to enhance your leadership skills. You will collaborate with like-minded professionals and contribute to meaningful projects.

Research Advocacy

Encourage professional research in our province! As a committee member, you will play a vital role in supporting teacher-led research initiatives.

Community Connection

Connect with fellow educators and community members who share your passion. It is a fantastic way to network and build lasting relationships.

Fundraising Impact

The Fundraising Committee drives our mission forward. You will help plan, coordinate, and implement fundraising activities that directly support our Foundation’s projects.

Committee Responsibilities

• Develop short- and long-term fundraising plans aligned with our goals.
• Execute creative fundraising approaches, considering costs, resources, and charitable impact.
• Attend approximately 3-4 meetings throughout the year.

Qualifications:

While past fundraising or social media experience is a bonus, it is not required. Enthusiasm and dedication matter most! If you have experience with McDowell or educational research, that is even better.
