GreenShield Now Administering Your Coordination of Benefits Information

If you or your dependants have coverage under another health or dental plan, in addition to your teacher benefit plans, the process to update your co-ordination of benefits information just got easier. Now when you submit claims, GreenShield will automatically update this information, meaning you no longer need to inform the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation. You can also call GreenShield directly and they will make the update over the phone.

The Federation continues to look for ways to improve member experience with your benefit plans. Not only will this change align the Federation with standard industry practice, but it also means one less step to get your claims processed accurately and efficiently so you get your reimbursements faster.

If you need to add or remove a dependant or verify your dependant’s student status, remember to do so by logging in to MySTF on the Federation website or by completing a Change of Information form and sending it to the STF.  Your file will then be updated with GreenShield.
