Facilitator Series: Creating the Professional Learning You’ve Always Wanted to Experience

Discover the factors that contribute to purposeful, flexible, and responsive adult learning experiences as you develop a concrete plan for a professional learning session on a topic of your choice.

Pre-learning will be sent via email to those who register.

Participants will:

• Identify criteria for high-quality professional learning.
• Apply a structured process to identify learning outcomes for a focused facilitation plan on a self-selected topic.
• Connect outcomes to purposeful process selection that considers elements such as content, formative assessment, cultural responsiveness, differentiation and learner preferences.

Audience: All educators interested in facilitating professional learning opportunities.

Workshop Cost: (includes GST, materials and lunch)

• Early Bird: $135 (prior to 10 business days before event)
• Standard: $175

Registration closes 2 business days prior to the workshop. Payment must accompany registration. The refund deadline for all workshops and events is 10 business days prior to the start date. Registrants who withdraw prior to the refund deadline are entitled to a full refund or transfer of their registration fee. If notification of withdrawal is received after the refund deadline and up to the commencement of the session, 50 percent of the registration fee will be refunded. Read more about our Refund Policy.
