Guide to Collegiality and Communications

Abstract:

Councillors help the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation learn about your local association, school and community. Members often prefer to connect with someone they can trust, someone close and easily accessible. Often, that person will be you. As a councillor, you can expect teachers to approach you for information about their professional organization. According to the legislation and bylaws governing the Federation, your support is collegial. You are also responsible for ensuring your colleagues are aware of the work of Council and the decisions made on their behalf.
