STF Membership

If you are employed as a teacher in a school that receives or is eligible to receive grants pursuant to The Education Act, 1995, you must, as a condition of employment, be a member of the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation. This includes over 13,000 teachers and school-based administrators employed in the province’s publicly funded PreK-12 education system.

If you are a student enrolled in a teacher education program you are deemed to be a member as well.

STF membership grants professional status that comes with responsibilities, rights and benefits. Working together, you and your Federation assert a credible voice on behalf of the collective, while attending to your individual professional aspirations and needs.
