Bumper Stickers

Purpose:

Synthesizing Learning

Overview:

This process supports a synthesized statement of key ideas from learning.

Procedure:

1. In small groups, have learners brainstorm key words that describe the topic.  
2. Invite them to use these words to create and record a catchy “Bumper Sticker” on a sentence strip that can be displayed on the wall.  

Materials:

• Sentence strips (ledger paper cut in half lengthwise)
• Markers
