Certification and Registration
Abstract:
In Saskatchewan, you must meet specific criteria and must hold a valid teacher’s certificate in order to be engaged, appointed, employed or retained as a teacher or principal in any publicly funded school.
In addition, teachers who have been issued a teacher’s certificate and are working as teachers are required to register annually with the Saskatchewan Professional Teachers Regulatory Board. All teachers who register with the SPTRB will be on the public registry.
