Designing a Character: A Drama Unit for Drama 20

Pattison, Susan. 2005. Character development, either through a collective creation process or as a segment of a drama unit, is the central focus of this unit. Although the unit uses objectives from the Drama 20 curriculum, it could also be adapted for Drama 9, 10, or 30. Activities include imaginary character, character collage, developing back story, character history, characters in conflict, and writing and presenting character monologues.
