La pizza

This unit models communicative/experiential second language teaching in a multidimensional curriculum and complements units in Core French: A Curriculum and Resource Guide for the Elementary Level (1994). Students have an opportunity to learn about pizza, one of their favourite foods. During the learning activities, students discuss favourite pizzas, become familiar with different kinds of pizza, family preferences, pizza menus, pizza toppings, pizza recipes and design an invitation. For the experiential goal, students plan and prepare for a pizza party. 51 p.
